VOLUNTEEROur Dedicated volunteers are the eyes and ears of Meals on Wheels Avon Park. They are a vital link to our program's success because of their daily, personal contact with clients. Volunteers provide a helping hand in numerous ways. Individual Volunteers are the very Backbone of Meals on Wheels Avon Park. Giving of their valuable time is a selfless act that allows us to continue to meet the nutritional needs of the frail, elderly, and home-bound citizens in our area.

TAKE ACTIONDrivers are needed one day a week or as a substitute when needed for about two hours. Duties include delivering a hot nourishing meal to our clients. Meals are picked up at 10:00am. Office hours are 10:00am - 1:00pm
